| Anotation | The basis of early and targeted (recanalization) treatment of stroke is the early and relatively accurate detection of symptoms, both in prehospital (ambulance crews) and hospital care (emergency physicians, neurologists). Differential diagnosis of conditions that mimic stroke symptoms (stroke mimic), based solely on clinical examination, available anamnestic data and vital signs, remains difficult in the prehospital phase. |
