The second transnational meeting of the project eLILY2
The second transnational meeting of the ERASMUS + project "eLILY2 - eHealth Literacy Learning skills among Nurses working with older people" (2020-1-CY01-KA202-065962) took place on 26. - 27. 8. 2021. The meeting, which was originally planned face to face in Athens, took place online, due to the still unfavorable epidemic situation caused by COVID-19. The meeting, organized by the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece with co-Host the Cyprus University of Technology, was attended by all participating project partners - Klaipeda State University of Applied Sciences (Lithuania), University of Humanities and Economics in Lodz (Poland) and University of Ostrava (Czech Republic).
The first day was devoted to the evaluation of the current state of the project, the preparation of an interim report on financial management. The partners were acquainted with the current plans within the dissemination and evaluation of the project. The second day of the meeting was devoted to the implementation of the project and the four intellectual outputs (the curriculum and contents, eLearning version of the course, piloting methodology and recommendation guide).
The consortium has already completed the development of the course and plans the eLearning version. Four modules promoting eHealth Literacy and Health Literacy are now available for piloting in next phase: 1) General background of Health Literacy and eHealth Literacy, 2) Skills in Practice (Identification of patients with limited Health Literacy) 3) Feasibility and readability issues and eHealth challenges 4) Health Literacy and Patient Safety.
During the meeting, the second phase of intellectual outputs were planned, focusing on the issue of the e-learning version of the course. The 3-day Training event was also discussed, organised by Akademia of Economic and Humanistic Studies in Lodz, Poland. The training aims to support the partners’ research teams in the development of the contents appropriate for the eLearning version and will take place on 14 to 16th September 2021.
