Guidelines for Abstract and Poster
Abstract
- An abstract is a single paragraph (175-250 words) without subheadings, indentations, or references.
- It should be an explicit summary of your presentation stating the problem, objectives, methods used, and the major results and conclusions; the abstract shoul be structured and must be divided into Introduction, Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusion and must be written in English.
- Informative abstracts and critical abstracts are accepted.
- It should be single-spaced in 12-point Times New Roman. Do not include bullets or lists in the abstract.
- The Abstract should be written in English.
- The abstract should be submitted in the format of MS Word (.doc or .docx) document.
- Documents that do not follow the guidelines will be asked to be revised.
- The content of the abstract will be scrutinized before acceptance of the paper presentation at the international research conference.
- Keywords – a maximum of 3-6 keywords are allowed for the abstract.
The structure of the abstract:
1st line – THE TITLE OF THE PAPER IN CAPITALS
2nd line – leave it out
3rd line – all authors′ names without their degrees/titles (bold)
4th line – an unabridged name of the workplace
5th line – leave it out
6th line – the actual text
Poster
Recommended poster format: A0 841 x 1189 mm (format portrait)
The structure of the poster:
- Title and Author(s) – the title of your work and the names of the authors prominently across the top of your display.
- Purpose or Question – include a concise statement of the purpose of your work or the hypothesis tested.
- Methods or Procedures – provide a brief summary of your methods or procedures.
- Results – clearly and concisely presenting your main findings using well-labeled charts, graphs, tables, or outlines.
- Conclusions – to summarize the key takeaways from your work and how they relate to your stated purpose.
