New molecular diagnostic platforms are being developed to enable more precise identification of cardiomyopathies in oncology patients, significantly enhancing the safety of oncology treatments. - Comprehensive Panel for Genetic Screening of Monoclonal Gammopathies

Scientific Infrastructure
The research at our faculty is conducted in a modern environment with high-quality infrastructure, including the Simulation Center (SIMLEK) and the newly developed Life Environment Research Center Ostrava (LERCO). This center provides a stimulating scientific environment with state-of-the-art equipment, opportunities for international collaboration, and transparent career growth for researchers.
Our research activities include basic research (40 %), applied research (45 %), and contract research (15 %), with an emphasis on the practical application of results in clinical practice.
