The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ostrava announces a selection procedure to fill the position:
- International Relations Officer
Estimated employment agreement:
- 100% (full-time)
Estimated onset:
- 1st September 2024 or as agreed
Qualifications and other requirements:
- First level university degree (secondary education with a high school diploma + 5 years of experience);
- knowledge of written and spoken English (min. B2) - daily communication in a foreign language;
- excellent knowledge of Czech language;
- PC skills (MS Excel, MS Word);
- excellent communication and organizational skills;
- responsibility, independence, reliability, flexibility;
- knowledge of the university environment an advantage.
Language in which the selection procedure will be conducted:
- Czech and English
Job description:
- managing the agenda of cooperation with foreign universities and organisations;
- coordination of partner relations, communication with foreign partners, academics and students;
- ensuring the agenda of admission of foreign students and academics and sending students and academics abroad;
- information services for students and applicants to foreign language programmes;
- contribution to the preparation of information materials;
- administrative support and coordination of foreign projects;
- processing and distribution of information in the field of foreign relations;
- participation in training courses, seminars, domestic and foreign trade fairs.

Date and method of delivery of the request
Applications for the selection procedure containing all required documents should be sent electronically to: by 23 June 2024 at the latest.
The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the presence of the candidates by means of an assessment of the materials supplied by the candidates by the selection committee. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to the second round of the selection procedure. The awarding authority reserves the right not to select any candidate or to cancel the selection procedure without giving any reason.
