The Dean of Faculty of Medicine, University of Ostrava announces the selection procedure for position:

• Researcher II - Specializing in Hematology
  
  

Expected Start Date:

• 08/2023 or as per agreement
  
  

Expected working hours:

• 2 places with part-time (10%)
  
  

Qualification and other preconditions:

• completed Ph.D. education
• active publication and project activity
• previous international cooperation in a research team
• experience in solving scientific-research projects
• EU Research level: R2 – Recognized
• Knowledge of the English language at the B2 level in written and oral communication
  
  

Job description:

Researcher II participates in the independent solution of complex scientific research/development tasks in his area, in the initiation and solution of research projects or projects of contractual cooperation of a smaller scale, in cooperation in a research team and with foreign researchers, in active publication activities according to the requirements of the area and in accordance with requirements of standards of creative activity at OU, for securing research funding (submission of grants, search for possibilities of contractual cooperation on research).

Wage conditions:

• according to the Internal Wage Regulation.

• CV with an overview of previous experience, publication activity and reguired skills
• Brief letter of motivation
• Copies of documents on university education
  
  

Applications:

Applications for the selection procedure containing all required documents should be sent electronically to the address by August 9, 2023 at the latest.

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the applicants, with the evaluation of materials submitted by the selection committee. Only selected applicants will be invited to a personal meeting.

The announcer reserves the right not to fill the job position or to cancel the selection procedure.
