The Dean of Faculty of Medicine University of Ostrava announces a selection procedure for position:
- Assistant professor of nursing intesiv care and first aid
Expected working time:
- 10%
Expected entry into the employment:
- 28. 6. 2021 or by an agreement
Requirements:
- higher II. degree education in nursing or a related field;
- doctoral degree in nursing or related field;
- professional experience welcomed;
- at least 5 years of experience in the intensive care unit in an acute inpatient department or pre-hospital emergency care;
- scientific research and publishing activity;
- active knowledge of English - level B2, ability to teach in English;
- EU research level: R2 – Recognized;
- personal and professional prerequisites for pedagogical and research activities.
Description of the work position:
The professional assistant provides teaching in bachelor's and master's degree programs (including the supervision and opposition of final theses) and participates in the development of these degree programs. In the case of approval by the scientific council of the faculty, the professional assistant participates in the provision of doctoral study programs. He actively participates in creative activities (especially in the form of independent solution of complex research and development tasks, active publishing activities in peer-reviewed journals, or other forms of publication outputs according to industry requirements and in accordance with creative standards at OU, active participation in scientific conferences and professional meetings, active presentation of the results of creative activity. Furthermore, the professional assistant participates in the third role of the university, especially in the form of popularization of creative activities, in the administration associated with the activities performed and in the self-government of the university.
