The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ostrava announces a selection procedure for the position of:
- Excellent worker for project LERCO
Type of Systematized Position:
- Researcher III
Expected Start of Employment
- September 2025 or by agreeement
Expected Working Load:
- 10 % on a fixed-term basis for the duration of the LERCO project (maximum until December 31, 2027).
Qualifications and Other Requirements:
- Completed university education in General Medicine;
- Board certification in otorhinolaryngology and head and neck surgery;
- Expert in the field of sleep medicine;
- Doctoral studies in Hygiene, Preventive Medicine, and Epidemiology an advantage;
- Publication experience;
- Ability to establish international cooperation;
- Positive, independent, and creative approach to work;
- Ability to efficiently solve assigned tasks;
- Experience in a university environment an advantage.
Language in Which the Selection Procedure Will Be Conducted:
- Czech or English.
Salary Conditions:
- In accordance with the Internal Salary Regulations of the University of Ostrava.
Job Description:
- Participation in the LERCO CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000003 project within research program VP 8 – Environmental Epidemiology as a tool for improving quality of life in an industrial environment.
- Diagnosis and prevention focused on chronic sleep disorders.
- Diagnosis and prevention focused on hearing quality in the adult population.
- Publication activities.
- International cooperation.
