Science and Research

The field of science and research, encompassing research projects, is alongside education, one of the core activities of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Ostrava. The implementation of basic research projects is closely connected to their clinical application and vice versa, for example, in cooperation with the University hospital. This enables clinicians to advance their projects to the experimental stage. The Science and Research Department of our faculty supports the realization of projects both in terms of their conceptual development and administrative processes.
