Job description

  • The assistant professor provides teaching in bachelor′s and master′s degree programs (including the supervision and opposition of final theses) and participates in the development of these programs.
  • In the case of approval by the scientific council of the faculty, the assistant professor participates in the provision of doctoral study programs.
  • Actively engages in creative work (primarily by independently conducting research and development projects, actively publishing, actively participating in scientific conferences and professional meetings, and actively presenting the results of their creative work).
  • Furthermore, the assistant professor participates in the third role of the university, especially in the form of popularization of creative activities, in the administration associated with the activities performed and in the self-government of the university.

Qualification requirements – required

  • A university degree in medicine, healthcare, or economics (with a focus on healthcare);
  • A doctoral degree in the specified field or a related field;
  • Active publishing in the field;
  • Personal and professional qualifications for independent teaching and scientific research activities; publishing activities and professional development;
  • Potential for further scientific research and creative activities;
  • Knowledge of Italian – C1–C2.

  • Knowledge of English

  • R2 – Recognized

The expected form of employment

  • 30 – 100 %

The expected start date

  • 1 November 2026, or by agreement

  • The salary is determined by the candidate′s classification according to the University′s internal salary regulations and also depends on the candidate′s experience and their involvement in research grant activities.
