Clinical propaedeutics in pediatrics is an introductory subject focused on basic procedures of a child's clinical examination and orientation in pediatric diagnostics from the perspective of nursing, with an emphasis on the age peculiarities of the paediatric patient. The aim of the subject is to gain theoretical knowledge about the evaluation of the clinical condition and needs of a critically ill child, focusing on the age differences of the paediatric patient, systematic investigation of the needs of the child and the specificities of clinical and instrument ation monitoring. Students will acquire practical skills in the field of physical examination of a child across all age groups, including medical history collection, specifics of communication with legal guardians, and correct implementation of anthropometric measurements.
