About the Blood Cancer Research Group

The BCRG Biomedical Center was established in 2015 as a joint project of the Medical Faculty of the University of Ostrava and the Department of Hematooncology, University Hospital Ostrava. BCRG teams focus on basic and preclinical research with the main goal of developing new therapeutic approaches in the field of monoclonal gammopathy and other hematological disorders. The BCRG scientific core consists of three closely cooperating teams - the genomic team, the cell therapy team and the molecular cell biology team.
