AnotationParkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disease characterized by motor system disorders - tremor, rigidity, bradykinesia and also non-motor symptoms such as loss of smell, indigestion, abnormal sleep movements and cognitive impairment. The main and still investigated mechanisms of origin include degeneration of dopaminergic neurons substantia nigra, accumulation of ?-synuclein and vascular changes in the brain. The diagnosis of Parkinson's disease is already based on clinical criteria. About 10% of patients are under the age of 40, 15% fall ill before the age of 50. People between the ages of 55 and 62 are most often affected, men more often than women. However, the first symptoms may occur much earlier, in the third decade, and this prodromal stage is still not detected in time. The aim of the project is to develop a systematic procedure for simple testing and early detection of individuals in the prodromal stage, creation of an algorithm for determining the risk of developing Parkinson's disease, design and testing of biochemical and molecular markers. Determine the risk of Parkinson's disease in captured individuals. For each risk group, then offer protective measures appropriate to the prodromal condition, which could slow the progression or delay the onset of the disease.
