About the Department

The Department of Clinical Studies teaches courses in conservative clinical practice for the Faculty of Medicine and other faculties at the University. Teaching focuses on internal medicine, pediatrics, neurology, dermatology, infectious diseases, geriatric care and psychiatry – including various interdisciplinary fields. The courses cover basic issues in diagnostics and treatment in individual disciplines, with the course content modified to correspond with the specific focus of each department.

The Department’s research covers a wide range of areas representing the full spectrum of clinical specialisms. Staff develop new diagnostic and treatment methods in internal medicine, pediatrics, neurology, dermatology, infectious diseases, geriatric care and psychiatry – including various interdisciplinary fields.
